The Music of Redeemer Records

“Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.”
— Ephesians 5:19
Scripture-Saturated Songs for the Church
At Redeemer Records, we write hymns to serve Christ’s church; not for performance, but for proclamation.
Each song is crafted to be theologically clear, biblically rooted, and musically singable, helping the people of God to worship in spirit and in truth.
We believe that the gathered church is formed by what it sings. That’s why our hymns are filled with the Word of God, centred on the gospel of Christ, and shaped to build up the body in faith, hope, and love.
These are songs not for the stage, but for the sanctuary: songs to carry the truths of Scripture into the hearts and mouths of God’s people.

“Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name.”
— Hebrews 13:15

By Your Grace and For Your Glory
Stephanie Screen & Ben Harte Hutchinson

“By Your Grace and For Your Glory” is a hymn rooted in the vision of the early church in Acts 2:42–47: a vision of a people shaped by the gospel, gathered around the Word, united in worship, marked by generosity, and propelled into mission.
This song gives voice to the church’s identity: not as a social institution or performance culture, but as the redeemed community of Christ: gathered by grace, scattered with purpose, and growing by the sovereign work of God.
Every line is written to align the mouths of the church with the message of the Scriptures, so that what we sing will form what we love, and what we love will shape how we live. It is a prayer that our local churches would be living pictures of God's grace and reflections of His glory.

Praise the God of Saving Grace
Stephanie Screen & Ben Harte Hutchinson

Praise the God of Saving Grace celebrates the deep rest believers find in the finished work of Christ.
With a fresh melody and an expanded text inspired by Horatius Bonar’s classic 19th-century hymn “Not What My Hands Have Done,” this new setting invites worshippers to lay down striving and receive again the assurance of the gospel.
The hymn reminds us that both salvation and sanctification are gifts of grace, not earned by human effort but freely given through His mercy.
Praise the God of Saving Grace calls the church to return anxious hearts to the cross, resting once more in the unchanging love of the Savior.

The Love of Christ
Is Strong
Lyrics by Tim Chester
Music by Stephanie Screen & Ben Harte Hutchinson
The Love of Christ is Strong is a hymn of repentance written in collaboration with theologian Tim Chester. The text is born out of Chester’s studies and writings from The Song of Solomon, and contrasts the believer’s wandering heart with the steadfast love of Christ, centering around the poetry of Song of Solomon 5:2-9; 8:6-7.
This reflective original hymn tune and gentle arrangement give space for multiple elements presented in the text: recognition of distance from God, heartfelt repentance, and a reminder of the faithfulness of Christ, leading to a renewed seeking of the Lord in his Word.

The Word from
Age to Age
Stephanie Screen & Ben Harte Hutchinson

“The Word from Age to Age” is a hymn of reverence and renewal: a fresh setting of timeless truths that honour the Scriptures as God’s enduring voice to His people. Drawing inspiration from Bishop William W. How’s 19th-century text “O Word of God Incarnate”, this version offers newly adapted lyrics and an entirely original melody.
Shaped by the language of 2 Timothy 3:14–17, this hymn lifts up the Word of God as the church’s light across generations: inspired, sufficient, and Christ-revealing. Each verse presents a perspective of the Bible as both a divine gift and a daily guide that speaks into every age with unchanging authority and life-giving power.

The music, written for congregational worship, pairs poetic reverence with melodic clarity, offering churches a new and singable way to proclaim the centrality of Scripture in life and liturgy.
The Word from Age to Age is more than a hymn of reflection; it is a declaration of allegiance to God’s Word, and a prayer that the church would remain rooted in truth, shaped by grace, and faithful in witness from generation to generation.

The Doxology
Ben Harte Hutchinson

“The Doxology” is a hymn of pure praise: simple, ancient, and eternal. With words that have echoed through generations of the Church, this rendition invites worshippers into the Trinitarian wonder of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Set to an atmosphere of sacred stillness and reverent beauty, Ben Harte Hutchinson’s recording preserves the hymn’s timeless weight while offering a contemplative, painterly arrangement: textured, restrained, and Christ-centered.
This version honours the legacy of the Church’s sung worship while drawing hearts upward in doxology: the right response to God’s mercy and majesty.

May You Be Glorified
Stephanie Screen & Ben Harte Hutchinson

“May You Be Glorified” is a reflective hymn of surrender, drawing on the language and spirit of Anna Waring’s 1850 text “If Thou Be Glorified.”
Resonating with Mark 9:33–37, where Jesus calls His disciples to humility and servanthood, this hymn unfolds as a prayer to be made low: to serve quietly, in faithful self-giving love, seeking no honour but Christ’s.
Each verse gives voice to a life laid down to Christ: asking for quiet strength rooted in the security of God’s providence, contentment in obscurity, and joy in unseen obedience. The chorus frames the posture of the whole song: “Lord, by your Spirit lead my life, and wear away my heart of pride. O form in me the heart of Christ; may You be glorified.”
The arrangement is intimate and reverent, drawing listeners into a place of stillness and prayer. It offers not spectacle, but sanctuary: a space to reflect, to respond, and to join in quiet worship and surrender to Christ.
